Today, I did a lot of standing. I was happy with how the Charpentier mass and the Hallelujah chorus turned out! And the Strauss piece - Ari is a fun conductor! >///< ~ It was a surprisingly nice experience singing with the orchestra, very different from the rehearsal. I was expecting it to feel like somewhat of a drag after the holiday selections, but it wasn’t!

This is also more than likely the last day I’ll see Howie. With everything his parents have put him through, I think what he does is really admirable. What a cool person! >///< ~ 

After all that standing, I took some time just sitting and doing nothing.

Today, I remembered my 180 sketchbook that 702 used to pass around and read during class. I haven’t been able to find it for the longest time. That was my favorite notebook in middle school. And in elementary school, my favorite notebook was my science notebook, where I outlined the entire textbook everyday during lunch.

Right now, I think my favorite notebook is my exchange journal with Karen.

I also played The Ballet with Janet today and sort of remembered all of it, for once. Katie said it was refreshing to hear it, so I’m happy someone enjoyed it. Shirley Ann Jackson also passed by and waved. Now I know what she looks like.

Tomorrow, I’m going to finish learning the Menuet. And I’m also going to try some of the very many things I used to like.

Today, I met a really friendly squirrel! It came up to me and sniffed me, let me touch it, and let me take lots of photos. I hope I meet it again before the squirrels start hibernating, whenever that may be.
